Tried to search for this problem already. Couldn't find anything relating to me or anything that I hadn't tried yet. Or maybe it's late and I didn't search hard enough. Either way.
Ordered my new build last week, put it together yesterday. Installed everything in the correct slots in case with mobo on standoffs and no metal touching the mobo itself, turned the system on. Lights/fans come on for a brief second, debug light flashes a 0 on the right side (but missing the top left portion of what would be a 6 sided 0) with nothing on the left, and system shuts off immediately. I then removed the motherboard and it's components from its case and onto a piece of cardboard. Same thing happened. I then removed the GPU, HD, and 1 stick of RAM, same results. Moved the one stick from slot to slot, same issues. Switched RAM module, same issues. Took off Cooler Master heatsink and fan, installed stock, same thing. Checked if CPU was installed properly, and it was.
Complete build is in my profile. I just wanted to check and see if anyone here had any ideas on what might be wrong with the motherboard and my setup before I start going to test my other parts.
I have no other 1155 socket CPUs, DDR3 1600's, or another PSU I feel comfortable hooking up to the motherboard to check my system with, so if it's not a motherboard issue I guess I'll take it to a technician who can tell me which parts aren't working correctly.
Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.
I should note that in between every time I had to test that I reset the CMOS
