    I think it depends on whether "hack" has a Canadian or an American accent.

        I'll be reinstalling Windows over the weekend. For that should I set RAID mode with the two blues unplugged while installing the OS on the single SSD?

        EDIT: What is the advantage of using hardware RAID over software RAID?

          software raid uses resources from your CPU while in windows (essentially slowing you down) where a hardware raid it happens by the chipset and doesn't affect the CPU.

          and I would setup the RAID as you want it before installing windows. just make sure that you select the proper unallocated space for your installation.
