Although its not needed to have both Main bios and Backup bios the same version, there is some cross talk between them and having them on the same version has helped.

Yes conners is correct. ALT+F10 will copy main bios to backup bios. CTRL+F10 will copy backup bios to main bios. I would also recommend what conners has said about clear CMOS and load optimized defaults and try.
I have already tested for 12 passes of memtest with both sticks in and 12 passes on each stick individually. I have not tried running the system with only one stick though, i haven't received any errors in memtest so i don't see why that would help.

I will try copying my main bios to the backup though.

Props for the Lamb of God lyrics in your sig too.
I dont know what the difference is but there is as with Z77x when you clear CMOS, on boot it will make you load optimized defaults before you can continue. So please try that also.

I gleaned this else where lol. CMOS and BIOS are often used interchangeably, but you can think of the BIOS as software, and CMOS as the hardware running it. So reset your hardware and load your software...

if its failing prime 95 chances are it needs tweaking,voltages/llc ect even at stock clocks it might need a touch more voltage somewhere

Re: Can mobo cause constant BSOD and freezing while gaming?

Yeah it locks up during gaming after a few hours or even 15 minutes. I just locked up after about 4 hours of prime at all defaults with a CMOS reset.

What else can i try increasing besides dram and vtt?

I hit alt+f10 and i didn't see it do anything besides sit at the splash screen longer.

add vcore or dvid offset which ever using... Or if your could post your relevant bios settings this would help as we are not mind readers like my friend says.

There aren't really any relevant settings, it is all set to auto since i cleared the CMOS. Do you want screenshots of the bios?

I have already tried changing all of those in the past, it made no difference.

The only thing i can see on there that i haven't tried would be:

                    PM Phase control
Performance Enhanced has always been default at Turbo

What does the performance enhance in the memory settings do exactly?

Its not helping to tell me to do things i have already tried, but thanks for trying anyway.

I think im going to look into replacing this board, apparently gigabyte is still beta testing the Z77.

I couldn't even use my mouse or keyboard to install windows, i had to borrow a PS/2 keyboard from a friend.

Most likely its an EBKAC and not the motherboard, but I could be wrong.

the performane enhance just tightens up the secondary(advanced) memory timings,i always left that on standard on my old x58,have you played around with each llc setting yet?theres also a cpu power phase percentage setting i think, idk what gigabyte labels it as but on my board i have it at 120%

you might wanna try popping out the mb battery and fully clearing the cmos, leave it out for 30mins,then load optimized defaults and start over with your bios settings just so you know where you are ect,ive seen corruped cmos's give instability

Yelp def a noob looking for answers but not willing to apply oneself. A typical NOOB. I bet you they always wanted to rma the board cause they fuped in their selection. Now Your and my price for the same board will go up for their incompetence. Shame on you for screwing the rest of us...

Heck I wouldn't be surprised that you have your OS so corrupted it would never work. But in this case it prob a noob case of PEBSBAC.
