Thought id report back its been months now.. no more cold boots..ive updated to latest bios F12j on both bioses...the problem lies with XMP for some reason..no biggy cos once disabled everything works fine infact works better with tighter timings. (10 11 10 28 1T) instead of 11 11 11 30 2T

Fast boot & Ultra fast boot workin (Ultra is too quick no way of getting back into bios without reset cmos)
