    Yea when installing windows I didn't go to the advanced tab, just clicked install and it did whatever it does. Normally on a standard HD I would format it prior installing.
    Thought It might have something to do with the writes.

    The 9128 chip is just poor.

      yeah the 9128 is not as great as the 9182. Mainly do to it only being pci-e 1x and not pci-e 2x. Only solution is add in controller card or new motherboard with true sata3 ports. But still its better then sata2 speeds.
