Ep45-ud3p (1.1) drivers

I had a question as to which sata drivers and if I should be using Intel RST with my board for ACHI support.
The official ones are dated:
INF 9.1.2.1007
Sata/ACHI 8.9.0.1023 (Matrix Storage)

I'm using:
INF 9.3.0.1019
Sata/ACHI 10.8.0.1003 (Intel RST)

Station drivers show:
INF 9.3.0.1020
Sata/ACHI 11.1.0.1006 (Intel RST)

I'm running a 64GB ssd as my boot drive with most of my files on a 320GB hdd.

Would it be better to stay with the msachi driver 7.0.0.1013 that the INF 9.1.2.1007 installs from 06/04/2009?

You could bench test before and after and see what works best for you. In the past Intel drivers have been better then MS drivers. You can find the latest drivers here http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...ity-tools.html scroll down to post #2.

If I"m not too late, the latest version of the RST driver for the P45 chipset/ICH10 motherboards is 10.8.0.1003 at

Thanks, those are the one's I'm using.
How about the INF or should the latest be used?

If you're using the Intel RST drivers (recommended) you don't need to do anything about the .inf. The Intel RST drivers take the place of the Microsoft msahci drivers.
