Currently waiting for GOP VBIOS for my GPU, then I will try secureboot again on f12u for g1assassin2, although I don't think it is causing the bootloop, would be great if it is the cause. EDIT: GPU is now uefi, so tomorrow ill try secureboot again, and let you guys now the outcome, hope it works.

F22b Mod or F22b beta have problem with memory.

I can't tighten the timing it always says OC fails

Because when i tighten the timing BCLK always go down to 98.6 or 99.

And i don't see the option where can i adjust manually the BCLK on my bios

I can confirm secureboot works perfectly fine now I have uefi bios for my GPU, only issue I have now is, I cant get into my bios lol. Modded bios f12u for g1assassin2, thanks virtualfred, got to work out how to boot to bios. EDIT, yes, just keep wackin f12 soon as the pc restarts/here the click, gives you 2 option, windows or enter setup, no more damn water mark. Don't need 2 monitors now either, boot screen goes straight to hdmi.

Thanks for your feedback, i compared F22a and F22b chipsets settings, they are exactly the same, so you have to wait F22c...

You mean you can not get into the BIOS with the DEL key ? This problem happens with the original beta bios or only with my mod ?

Both, for some reason when secureboot is enabled, del key doesn't seem to function, but f12 gives 2 options, enter setup or boot to windows, I imagine its the same reason why others cant get into the bios as well, ive read somewhere that others cant get into bios when secureboot is on, it must be the only option(f12), or my keyboard isn't resondingquick enough for del key, eitherway, problem solved for me, I don't mind tapping f12 instead of del.

I know, what ever reason, I cant get del to work, maybe if I use a ps2 keyboard?, im ok as I am. F12u works fine modded and original for core i7 3820, some oc issues, where can no longer overclock with just the turbo ratio, I have a feeling its deliberate. I also cant tell you if ivy-e cpu works with GBE region and pxe etc, as I don't have the cpu yet. EDIT: reply from gigabyte support, Sorry but bios to support IVY BRIDGE -E is not ready yet, so guess theres the answer. EDIT: After some playing I found the proper way to get into uefi bios, go to pc settings, restart options, choose uefi firmware settings, youll restart in the bios.

Gbe region in F12t was a mistake, no Gbe in F12u and it must stay like this. PXE Boot Agent is in every BIOS, so it's independant of LAN chip to boot on network.

I'm still surprised, for my job i play with many UEFI BIOS, Secure Boot enable and Win8, i always can enter in BIOS directly... but sometime it's so fast, i need to press and hold DEL before power on !

I just tested F13y on my X79-UD5. It behaves just like F13x for me. Multipliers work. But I have no idea what they meant in "Improve compatibility" statement int he release notes. Even my RAM behaves the same at 2133. Assuming F13y has the same changes as F12u for the ... wasn't that the UD7?... I see no reason why multipliers should be blocked.

Hello, I have the EX38-DS4 and I'm wondering if someone can help me out with the f6d Beta BIOS that I see in this post.

I notice that it's a beta (as is the f6c BIOS on Gigabytes' site) but I'm not too comfortable with installing a beta BIOS.

My current version is f3 and I want to upgrade it so that I can use AHCI on my new SSD. I was wondering if someone could mod the f6d beta BIOS to make it more stable if it's not?

I've noticed that, on the site, the driver specifically updates the Intel ACHI ROM (located here). Would the f5 drive be fine, should I use f6d (I'm assuming it's further along in development than f6c), or just go with a modded f6d?
