I can add in the Raid rom but I dont know how your board is going to react to the modded bios as the original bios does not have a raid rom listed.
Here is the link: Support Question Vertex 3 BSOD on Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L

If it has nothing to do with my board, of course I don't want to brick it.

Ok RobertOCZ was on the correct path sorta

I had hoped you might be able to use the 10.8 RST driver, but as you have found the ICH9 is excluded and only the ICH9R is included.
your board does not support raid and only supports ahci.

      you have a couple choices.

      1. keep searching for a better driver
      2. look into buying a true sata3 controller. I suggest looking on ebay for a IBM M1015 they can be found for $50-$100 new/used and $10-$20 for the cable. The controller can connect up to 8 drives.
      3. upgrade motherboard to any newer socket 775 board. Look for a ep45-ud3p or any P45 chipset board.
      4. upgrade to a whole newer system as that system is VERY out dated.

Side note... I am going to keep a back up copy of the First, second, and old bios mod pages so if the server crashes again we wont lose any data. If anyone needs a mod re-posted as its no longer listed in the first post let me know whats missing and ill see if I can re-post it again.
        Thanks a lot Acebmxer!
i've installed the modded bios and everything seems to run smooth. Also the 3TB disks are now recognised by Intel and i can create a 3TB raid1 set.
Thanks again. You made my day!

This suggestion is from a forum member in another thread:
Yeah, forum broken, but you can still find old posts on google cache 1 2

I hope you can find your most recent, post backup posts from a search using Google cache.
The forum's May 28 backup was applied on June 2, and the most recent post when the forum came online was dated May 26th at that time.

Any chance of getting a new rom for X58A-UD3R Rev. 2.0 Bios FH? The one posted has an outdated Intel raid rom, and Realtek rom. Thanks in advance.

Hello! I am writing again because it was the collapse of the server few days ago, some messages have disappeared and I haven't download the file I needed.
Dear Acebmxer, please do the MOD for THIS two BIOS files, that I zipped and attached below. I need the MOD exactly of these two files, NOT native from neighboring topic.
It is because I've modded them with two different methods (FACS and SSV3), but they have an old versions of ROMs, and I can't do the ROM-mod by myself.
If you want, PM me with an answer or attach your archive with MODs to the first post.

Sorry I did not forget about you. Having a few issues with my server, should be back up and running in 15hrs or so. Maybe if someone else can do the mod for you. If not when I get my stuff back up I will do it for you then.
