    GA-EP45-UD3P and PCIe 3.0 GPU compatibility

    Can you run a AMD HD7000 series card with the EP45-UD3P without any issues (besides the very small % performance hit)?
    I was looking at the Sapphire HD7850.

    should be fine,they are backward compatible anyway,maybe a mb bios update at the most

      F10 final is what I'm using, is there a beta for pcie 3.0?
      I had see some talk around about such a thing, but not Gigabyte though.

        you might not need it,7850 will run at pci-e 2 thats all,you wont see any performance drop either as pci-e3 wont be any different

          The motherboard it self can not be updated to have pcie3.0 as far as I know but the card should work fine at pcie2.0.

          Suggest using the latest beta bios to have best compatibility with the new card.
