      seems you found the temp limit... ;)

      Maybe play with fsb and multi some more, so memory could get to around 1600?
      for example 25x160 or 24x166 @ 10xMem, that would lower fsb (and perhaps a bit of heat)

      edit: or is turbo limited o 860?

        prime temps were in the mid 80's, so, idk........

          but, turbo is on..........and sometimes i see my speed sneak a tad above 4ghz in cpu-z ;)

            Any chance to lower VTT or DVID, I still don't understand how vcore gets above 1.3v.
            Somewhere between 175 to 178 would probably ideal.

              You might be better using a 21x CPU multi and disable Intel turbo boost,some cpus run better with an odd or even multi,try without llc if it lets you disable it

                maybe.........my last "boost" to get stable in linx at 3.96ghz may have been to both vtt and dvid at the same time, or excessive........lemmie see if i can nudge those down and stay stable with linx ..........sound good ?

                  Yes, take vtt to the same level as it was at 2.85GHz or a notch up, DVIS may need a more than 2 notches.

                    i am at 22x180 now, with turbo boost on........and yes, load line control can be auto, enabled or disabled...........right now its enabled

                          VTT was only 1.27 there, and should be about same with x22.
