yeah, it's the same problem is continually reset until finally starts correctly

thing is there is a huge debate as to what this problem is,regarding boot loops/cold boot ups and reset button ect,and no one really knows what it is on z68/p67,so i cant advise,usually its down to memory setting/voltages but it doesnt seem to have fixed things,you could try holding down alt and f12 at gigabyte splash screen to back up your second bios chip with your main bios chip so they both use the same bios version

On P67/Z68 you should always start with Wazza's last comment, BIOSes should always match before you do anything else.

Then don't use your reset button! As for when it's stuck in a loop, remove the CMOS battery and then unplug your PSU from the wall. Then press and hold the case/board power button for 1 full minute or so, then put the CMOS battery back in and enter BIOS to re-load optimized defaults, then save/apply/reboot back to BIOS and set your SATA Settings and memory voltage, ect.

It has happened repeatedly

Simply updating the other BIOS at same version, the problem will be solved?

P67 platform have had a few issues come up because main bios and back up bios are too far out of date. Most of these issues have been resolved by updating the back up bios to match the main bios.

I dont know for sure it will help with your exact problem but people have seen stability issues go away once back up bios has been updated.

Yes, it should help! Even if it does not, you should do it anyway for best chances of stability.

Then avoid the reset button on your case/board, use power on/off within windows

Hi,

I update the other BIOS, when the process has finished

I have two options

Turned off using the off button, or restart sistem using the reset button,

I used the reset button, to see if it worked properly.

The problem persist =(

disconnect the cable reset SW, to avoid problems,

but I would like to know the cause of the problem

Some BIOSes the reset button was fixed, maybe some were not? Last I checked was P67 B2 boards, but maybe they didn't get it fixed as good as I thought?

It should have been fixed on your boards BIOSes, from F3 onwards, maybe it's been broken again lately and not enough people have noticed.

No need to reset ever really anyway, use power button or windows power. No real good reason to reset, it can corrupt your files and windows anyway
