    Re: GA-x79-UD7

Well, I have found that my problem with sli came from uncompatibility between hdmi on gigabyte cards and hdmi on onkyo. I am using dvi connector and all works ok.

    Regards.

        Hello Wazza.

It's not a gigabyte problem. I had recently the evga gtx560ti 2win and same problem with mini hdmi. I bought all of these cards because of hd audio bitstreaming, and found an uncompatibility using both hdmi and minihdmi.

I think that the best way is to contact onkyo support and let them know..

        Thanks and happy year 2012..

          I am seriously loving f7!
          I'm not overclocked at right now but I am running my memory at 1866MHz 9 10 9 27 2T.
None of the other BIOS's could even boot those settings.

It's a very stable bios, I can do more overclock with less voltage.. And soon we will have f8...

I am here running 2000 cl9 with 4,6 ghz oc..

            Regards.

I saw that. I sure wish there was a changelog that went along with these, just so we could know what's being changed. I'm running f8b right now and I'm happy with it. Can't find anything different from f7 though...
I have finally gotten my memory to spd and a decent overclock!

Anyone having trouble with radeon 7970??

I cant see any video signal in uefi posts. Using my physx card in slot1, I am able to install amd and nvidia drivers. Once installed, the 7970 works ok in os.

I am using f8g as main and f7 as backup and same result. Tried changing slots, leaving the card alone, changing power connectors with no luck.

                          From dinos22 today:

The protection mechanism implemented on UD7 may not be functioning correctly. We are getting all these boards back to HQ for testing and will find out what is up and update. It's being treated as a top priority!
