  • X79 UD7 bios issues...

I have had some issues with the beta F3 bioses and F3 retail. None of the F3 beta bios's will show my bios changes in windows (for example, raise my voltage in bios, boot, voltage is still what I left it at). The F3 retail bios now allows voltage settings to change, but not multiplier.

    Any thoughts on this one?

Yep, used newest ET6 from the site or used the buttons on the board

Multi just isnt sticking from bios now but can change in software and from board buttons.

Ill check over at hwbot anxiously for that new beta bios. Hopefully it resolves this issue and gets me over the 4.949Ghz hump.

Gigabyte has replied to me and says newer beta F4c BIOS now is available, i think you can directly ask them for the F4C BIOS.

thats wonderful, I just asked my rep if they can get it for me.

so far I have been working on UD3 and UD7 x79's and the UD7 is more unstable, I have been tweaking to try to make the platform stable with F2 F3 and F4B with no sucess.
