I have a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 with an Intel i5-750 processor. I had modestly overclocked the processor to 3.2GHz and it ran great. I did the overclocking in the BIOS by setting the BCLK Frequency to 160MHz resulting in a Default Clock Speed at 20X of 3.2GHz.
I subsequently did a full reinstall of Windows 7 Pro and just after the install I got a message during the POST that says the CPU was overclocked and that I needed to restore the default settings, which I did. I tried to overclock again in the BIOS and every time I get the same message. It runs completely stable at the default setting but will not let me overclock anymore.
Any ideas or suggestion for being able to overclock again??
