Up grading from Windows XP to 7. Lost my sound. I have a GA-K8N5GMF-9 motherboard. I think it shows a NF-SPP-100/nForce Go 430. I used my NVIDA GeForce Utility CD. When I bring up the sound drivers it only shows the mircosoft drivers listed. I have no sound. Am I doing something wrong?

If you're using on-board sound (not a separate sound card), make sure that your bios has on-board sound set to enabled.
Does Device Manager show any problems with the Sound icon?
What brand/model/type of speaker system is connected to your system?
What brand/model of graphics card is installed?
Have you tried installing the latest & greatest Nvidia drivers that support your graphics card?

As far as I know, that board has Realtek AC97 audio. Drivers for Win 7 are available here : RealtekCoolermaster CM 690 II advance Case
