Precisly. Some motherboards has it as percent so you don't need to change VTT to know what you are doing.

0x00000124 means more Vtt, but that could be skewed by your changing of the ref values.

If you are not over 450-500 FSB you should need to adjust CPU ref's

I keep having issues with memory speeds while oc'ing this board, is there something magical about the 1600mhz memory speed? Is it the point that sends too much info down the bus and it cries enough?

It could be, or it could be the memory itself.

Thanks neoroy, I have been going over it in my head and it is harder to let go than I thought, I still have about 10degrees in the bag but pretty much bang on recommended voltage limits :(

Also just found out the qx9650 runs 35watts more with 5/6 degrees less tcase .... Hmmm

Maybe Psycho or chike or lsd can correct me if I am wrong but vtt has to be 0.5v under vcore or problems could arise.

This could not be the case with ddr3 memory on a p45 board.

                          So if i use vcore 1.3volt then vtt should 0.5v under it which is 1.3 - 0.5 = 0.8v?? sorry if i mistake ^^ or u mean 0.05v?

I don't think it's a problem to have the VTT above vcore, it just mean you may need even highr VTT to stabilize the FSB signal.
You can read about the effects of vcore on AGTL+ in Understanding GTL Reference Voltage

Ya, it's generally noted that is needs to be under by at least .05, especially on older CPU's (65nm)

I think it's ok on 45nm, maybe close to vcore is ok, I just personally wouldn't use too much more than Vcore
