    Hi!

I see that you had same RAMs as I did. I opened a thread about this problems so you can check it out: http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...-avaiable.html

To cut it short, it seems that this Ripjaws and Gigabyte 1366 boards are bad idea. I changed them for Corasir Dominators and now there are no errors. Altough one of my sticks WAS faulty.

Well, after that one after another testing, I updated BIOS to F12k, loaded optimized defaults and modified the rest as it was suggested here.

I ran the PC with triple kit again and in MemTest again it was plagued with errors.

      So, yes, incompatibility is ascertained.

        Hello again.

Nothing touched, only "load optimized defaults" in BIOS.

        ZERO errors in MemTest86+.

Should I suspect my motherboard for any reason or does the incompatibility assumption still stand you say ?

Try cold boot. Turn system off. Even unplug it for 10 minutes. Then power it on and immediately run Memtest. In that case I always got errors. No matter what settings.

Gee I have been using the same RAM without incident for nearly a year in a EX58-UD3R rev. 1.6 and now in an X58A-UD3R rev. 2.0. It has been great RAM for me. Perhaps the memory chips used now are different from when I purchased mine and that is giving you the problem. Let me find my stock settings and post them to see if that helps.

I hear alot of people having trouble with G.SKill and Gigabyte i would say 50-75% is wrong voltages or not enough voltages. G.skill worked find on my P45-UD3P so I went with them again on my UD5....

@Fightcat You may have faulty memory... You should not get errors while using Memtest. If each module passes separately but fails when a matched set is combined it sounds to me either not enough voltage somewhere or to much voltage or incorrect memory timings. The other thing the memory controller is built into the cpu now its not built into the motherboad. If the cpu heat sink is not installed properly either to tight or not tight enough can cause weird memory problems either showing only 4 out of 6gb installed or having memory errors.

You have 12bg ram are they 2x6gb kits or 1x12gb kit? 2x6gb kits "should" work together but are not guaranteed but one of the 2 kits should work together as a set.

If you have another set of memory to try or you can try RMAing that ram and try another set.
