    Please Explain!: Found G19+Razer Mamba Workaround for UD7

    So there is a well documented problem with the F6 bios of the GA-X58A-UD7 board that a G19 and a Razer mouse will cause problems such as not letting the system post or (in my case) cause the system to boot with no detectable GPU.

    However, by complete luck, I found that if I go into Advanced BIOS features and change the first boot device from Hard Disk to USB-HDD that everything works fine. The system boots normally and there are no problems whatsoever.

    I have no idea why this works and was wondering if anybody could explain it to me.

    its probably bios related,did you send in a report to gigabyte expaining everything? maybe they will fix it with future bios

      Since F6e (i think e ) my razer copperhead has worked intermittently. I've never had a post/bios issue however when the computer boots sometimes the mouse works.. sometimes not. If it doesn't work and i click a button the mouse now will light up but still not function. If I disconnect/connect it everything is good.

      I've just been waiting for a bios fix. Not sure if it's related but does seem odd.

        are you enabling usb keyboard and mouse in the bios if you have them? i cant say for razer mice but razer lycosa keyboard works fine for me,i have a cheap usb mouse too and that works fine

          Bios F7w fix the USB keyboard/mouse issues, I have read positive comments about it.
          Did you try this bios?
          F7w is the latest bios on gigabyte site, F7x the latest beta on TT.

              As Aquax mentioned, the latest BIOSes fix previous USB issues, please try BIOS F7u or above and be sure you enabled all USB Settings and Legacy USB/Storage settings.
