    Re: x58a ud3r rev1 cold boot problem

what qpi/vtt voltages did you use? cpu voltage and dram? have you tested hdd from port 0 to port 5? could be faulty sata port? ahh sorry forgot that it does it without hdd plugged in, i would try with a final bios from gigabytes website too just to see if its a beta bios issue, ive seen few bugs with the ud5 bios's lately idk if its the same for your mb

p.s. another thing to try would be to clear cmos fully by removing mb battery for 30mins or overnight, make note of any oc/bios settings beforehand as it will wipe them, then re-install battery set any bios settings and see if it fixes it

qpi/vtt volt 1.3, cpu volt normal, dram 1.66v

yeah hdd not plugged in but the sata cable is. maybe try different cable?

if nothing works then i can always leave native mode disabled. but im a perfectionist :(

        Re: x58a ud3r rev1 cold boot problem

you could try with 1.3-1.34v for qpi/vtt it might need just a touch more,or try with another sata cable just to eliminate it,does it still do this at stock clocks??? if so then i dont think its due to any oc settings

            Re: x58a ud3r rev1 cold boot problem

SOLVED!! it was faulty sata cable. and the reason why i still had the problem before when i removed the hdd was because my hdd was actually in port 5 and dvd drive in port 0. my mistake.

thanks to both of you for helping me
