Ohh, wow that is big, but you say it doesn't move much air? If not ya, go ahead and find a better one to replace it.
You need to set LLC to Level 1 to lessen the Vdrop/Vdroop, by the way what you mention is vdrop not vdroop. Vdroop is the difference between what you get at idle and load.
Also try several settings, some have more/less than others, like 1.3 may droop bad but 1.295 or 1.3125 may not so much
