While searching your memory module I stumbled on this. Although here is 2 different MB. They do have the same memory, chipset, and restart issue.

i have seen your post above for specs but before i go further i will do the following
i have read the link you provided ( i googled for hours but i know it depends on the structure of words to get the right result) and found some interesting and familiar results.
i have tried the single stick test and so far seems to be the same result - 1 stick gives post bios reboot cycle where as the other seemed to boot straight up. i will again try this in the morning and see how it goes. i have some kingston ram on its way and will also test this and compare results.
i will post back with the results and hopefully with good news. i know this doesnt fix the issue with the current ram but at the end of the day i would like something that works out of the box not something you have to spend hours tweaking to get to work. if i have to ever hash total sytem and reload from scratch out of the box is alot easier on the hole process.
failing all the above i will post results as requested and go further from there

Hmmmm I have seen a very similar issue to this caused by a bad bios update thru @bios and antivirus was not disabled....Did you flash your bios using @bios?

@bios is no problem provided:

1) you do not overclock
2) download the bios file first and flash from hdd

I never had any issues...

UPDATE
after finally receiving my new kingston ram - PROBLEM SOLVED
after some testing and runups under same conditions as previous ram fitment i have had no issues at all since fitting the new ram
seems there must be a conflict with the gskill and this motherboard
but am happy its fixed now and start the oc process

yea shame but from what i can find can do same oc with this ram as gskill so not so bad
will look into if there is better when i upgrade to win 7 64 and more ram then

sometimes you can get a faulty batch,so i wouldnt blame gskill completely,same as you can get a set that overclock well and some that wont at all
