If you want all 4 banks the ram speed goes down - this is normal for most mobo brands

Thermaltake View 71 (non RGB)
.. does this case got a fan hub to connect the additional (non RGB) Riing fans?
I know the RGB version got that fan hub but what about the single colour fans - is there a fan hub?
Btw, nice TT case review but this too skips the topic fan connectivity!

I had the same startup problem with my AMD - disable core-unlock in the bios fixed the issue .. not sure Intel got that too?

Re: SATA 3 not recognized
You usually need a driver to enable usb3 ports hence see usb3 HDs
Yes, Sata3 surpasses sata2 easily but only in binary transfer mode hence moving large zip files (for example) can make it to 400MBs - this is what I see here on my systemLast edited by PhenomII Dude; 02-10-2014, 04:26 PM.

Re: 2x4gb Kingston hyperx blu DDR3 ram problem
I am not much in intel but XMP on should set ALL ram parameters automatically - no need to do anything manual. IF you have an *auto* setting leave it all on auto - see if that works
well already late here (Australia) .. I sign...

Is memtest passing now (XMP on)? maybe boot from cd or stick

Re: 2x4gb Kingston hyperx blu DDR3 ram problem
Sorry, XMP profile better?
Set the sys bios to read the XMP (ram) profile - I read your board can do it ... save, reboot and see

Re: *** 127 C (degrees) *** GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UDR3 and COREi7
as above CPU temp is a sensor near/under the socket while core temp is an on-die sensor embedded into the CPU - with a good cooler (and good airflow inside case) the core temp is usually ~10C lower than the "socket"...

Re: *** 127 C (degrees) *** GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UDR3 and COREi7
you can't access/repair that sensor - get a new board if that bugs you!
it even could be this is 127F (not C) which would be more plausible.
