    How do I unlock ?
I am not sure the SB850 offers ACC.
If your bios does not have (ACC) Advanced Clock Calibration then you can't.
You may want to check your hidden bios feature by pressing CTRL+F1 on the main bios page or first page. Then navigate to MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)
Here is a bios image of the MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.) on a GA-MA790GPT-UD3H which has the SB750. It offers the (ACC)
    Code:
    MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)
} Advanced Clock Calibration [Press Enter]
    CPU Clock Ratio [Auto] 2800Mhz
    CPU NorthBridge Freq. [Auto] 2000Mhz
    CPU Host Clock Control [Auto]
    x CPU Frequency(MHz) 200
    PCIE Clock(MHz) [Auto]
    HT Link Width [Auto]
    HT Link Frequency [Auto] 2000Mhz
    VGA Core Clock control [Disabled]
    x VGA Core Clock(MHz) 700
    Set Memory Clock [Auto]
    x Memory Clock x6.66 1333Mhz
    } DRAM Configuration [Press Enter]
    ******** System Voltage Optimized ********
    System Voltage Control [Manual]
    DDR3 Voltage Control [Normal]
    NorthBridge Volt Control [Normal]
    SouthBridge Volt Control [Normal]
    SidePort Mem Volt Control [Normal]
    CPU NB VID Control [Normal]
    CPU Voltage Control [Normal]
    Normal CPU Vcore 1.3250V
Just set the EC Firmware to Hybrid
    Code:
    Advanced Clock Calibration
    EC Firmware Selection [[COLOR="darkred"]Hybrid[/COLOR]l]
    Advanced Clock Calibration [[COLOR="darkred"]Enabled[/COLOR]]
    x Value (All Cores) -2%
    x Value (Core 0) -2%
    x Value (Core 1) -2%
    x Value (Core 2) -2%
    x Value (Core 3) -2%
    EC Firmware Selection
Allows you to select the EC firmware version when Advanced Clock Calibration is enabled. After the selection, select Save & Exit Setup in the BIOS Main Menu and then press <Y>. A message which says "BIOS Is Updating EC Firmware!!! Don't Turn Off Or Reset System" will appear. Wait for a few seconds and the system will automatically restart for the settings to take effect.
Normal Uses the standard AMD EC firmware version. (Default)
Hybrid Uses the specific AMD EC firmware version. Advanced Clock Calibration
Allows you to determine whether to enable Advanced Clock Calibration when using an AMD Black Edition CPU.
    Disabled Disables this function. (Default)
Auto Lets the BIOS to configure the settings to defaults.
All Cores Configures Advanced Clock Calibration for all CPU cores.
Per Core Individually configures Advanced Clock Calibration for each CPU core. Value (All Cores)
This option is configurable only when Advanced Clock Calibration is set to All Cores.
Options are: -12%~+12%. Value (Core 0), Value (Core 1), Value (Core 2), Value (Core 3)
This option is configurable only when Advanced Clock Calibration is set to All Cores.
    Options are: -12%~+12%.

Sorry, it is not in that BIOS at all. Not hidden either, just not in the BIOS period.

You will need a different board, or to send in a ticket and see if you can get them to add to that BIOS. I am not sure, but I think only certain chipsets support that. Artdrivers will be able to tell you which, if your board/chipset is one of them you will need to get them to add it into the BIOS.

It may be available for this board and they just have not added it to the BIOS yet, not sure?

Hopefully Artdrivers will know and fill us in.

The ACC function is not offered on the Ga-890gpa-ud3h (rev.1.0)
The ACC function is offered in the AMD SB850 chipsets. The feature is now offered on some ASUS motherboards as a Hybrid switch. http://usa.asus.com/product.aspx?P_I...Ygs&templete=2
The ACC feature will be offered as a revision on some of the newer Gigabyte motherboards with the SB850 and 890G chipsets. Sorry just not on the Ga-890gpa-ud3h (rev.1.0).

Question is compared to what? Do you mean the 1090T compared to the 1055T?
My opinion is yes. If I had the $100 more. I would go for it. It is the only black edition in the Phenom core 6 family at this time. This means it has an unlocked cpu multiplier. If you want to oc you will have more options and stability with it. Also it runs 400Mhz per core more from start, and is in the same wattage rating 125Watt. Which is a good increase in terms of cpu speed. Although it really depends on what you want or need.
