Sorry for this beginners question, with these settings I run LinX for 2.5 hours:

    CPU Vcore 1.25000v.......................[1.21875v]
    Memory Frequency (Mhz)...................[1528]
    DRAM Timing Selectable (SPD) ............[AUTO]

So when I change the memory settings to a higher Mhz I also have to increase the vcore? I thought I only had to raise the qpi/vtt.

Ahh ok, no then you should be fine. Just the QPI/Vtt would need to be more then, and possibly IOH as well

With these vcores I can run LinX between 1 - 5 passes before I get a black screen.

        1.21875v
        1.25000v
        1.27500v
        1.28750v
        1.29375v

I used qpi/vtt 1.355v and these bios settings:

Should I return to vcore 1.21875 and increase my qpi/vtt and other volts?

        Edit:

I raised the qpi/vtt to 1.45500v, LinX stopped at run 5 but my system didn't reboot:

Looks like you are getting there now.

Try a bit more QPI/Vtt and more IOH

Re: Overclocking i7 930 and Kingston HyperX with X58A-UD7

            QPI/VTT: 1.47500
            IOH Core: 1.30000

LinX stopped at run 2. Should I raise volts again?

Re: Overclocking i7 930 and Kingston HyperX with X58A-UD7

              Try IOH 1.24-1.26

QPI/Vtt 1.48-1.52. If that does not help I still think you may need to try more Vcore even though it is stable with less.

Did you try also Vdimm 1.68? What do you get for setting 1.66 under load? Check with Everest

I only tried 1.66. Where can I find this setting in Everest?

In the left column choose Computer, then expand to Sensor as you see below

Check the value you get under a full load

I don't have a DIMM value in Everest.

Everest beta? Or the latest ud7 bios? I'm using the latest official F6 bios from the gigabyte website. Where is the latest ud7 bios in this forum, is it gone?

Sorry, I pasted the wrong link and missed it! I meant to link to the Tools posted here at TT

                          Corrected now

Latest UD7 BIOS is posted on page one of the sticky BIOS thread (I replied to your post at the end of the thread as well)

With the latest beta I can see the DIMM voltage. Under load it's 1.65 V.
