Hi all,
I am having a problem O/C this MB. If I change the bus speed to 400Mhz and run a 3.2 memory multiplier the memory will run fine at 1280 Mhz, but if I try to achieve the stated 1333Mhz with a 3.3 multiplier the system will not post and resets the bios to default settings.
Also there is no [9] CPU host multiplier in the bios settings, the highest I have is [8], is there a reason for this?

Yes, this is the CPU maximum multiplier.

Yes, sorry forgot to say that it runs fine at 1333 at 333MHz FSB. Passes memtest and prime95.
It also passes these tests at 400 MHz FSB at 3.2, but I can't even post if I try to run the 3.3 multipier, even if I try to underclock the cpu. It just will not run the 3.3 memory multiplier at all?

What is the board revision and BIOS version?

Ver 2.2 and bios F12
I am also unable to raise the FSB above 400MHz, again it resets cmos

Have added CPU-Z Validator to help you on my signature but I can't see it, is it working?

Try with +0.1 FSB OverVoltage and 2.66 memory multiplier, and you probably need more vcore.

Can't see your signature at all, just fill it with your system specs.

Had a look in bios but I do not have a 2.6 mem multiplier, nearest is a 2.5, but I am already running a 3.2 which at 398 FSB gives me a stable 1277MHz so I need to go up on the multiplier but I only have 3.3 (which fails) or the next step is 4 which is 1592Mhz which seems very high?

Is Refresh to ACT Delay manually set, this may be too lwo for 1600 or efev 1333.
Could you post a screen capture of Memset main(click >>) and SPD(click spd) windows?

tRFC is set manually.
These are also the timings I use at 333Mhz and they work fine.

Probably too low.
CPU-Z spd isn't good enough it does not show tRFC, need MemSet's SPD window.

Just changed;
FSB now +0.1V
Vcore now 1.4V
DDR now +0.3V
tRFC now 88
Memory multiplier now 4#
and I am now running RAM at 1592 MHz as I am typing!

Obviously I have not checked stablity, is this ok to run it this high?

It's ok just hurt performance a bit. Based on your 1333 settings you'd probably can get it to work with 72-80.
Your memory voltage is high 0.15v over it's specs.

EDIT: Actually it isn't high at all. It is equal to 44 at 800, most DDR2 default is 51, keep it 80 or above to be safe.

Hi, I am currently testing the timings as we speak and this is the result at the moment;



I am trying to tighten up the timings further, but @7-7-7-20 tRFC 80 I get errors on OCCT.
