I didnt run IBT at Max 8gb im going to do that tonight and check core temps while its running. While prime was running I got a Bugcheck BSOD i dunno what that is about. How would i check? When i went and checked primes log it didnt have a failure while the test was running before the BSOD. I mainly use my machine for storage/raid and gaming. My ram is rated at 1066 but i dont know if i can get it stable @1066 with 8gb. Is it possible too??? I would like it OC but unfortunately my quad core extreme already runs super hot i would def need watercooling before i stepped into that. At least thats my 10 cents.

Is my tRFC to high as 72? Should i lower it to 54-56?

The spec tRFC for this ram at DDR-800 is 51, 72 is probably not needed, 60 or less should suffice.

DDR-1066 may be possible, I wouldn't bother with it with 255MHz FSB. If not timings 4-4-4-12 may be possible.

What is exactly super hot? What are max core temps for IBT and Prime95?

EDIT: I would try to increase MCH Core a bit more 1.24-1.28 and try Prime95 again.

I will lower the tRFC and raise the MCH Core abit and let you know what happens. I will have to let you know tonight what the max temps are when i run the tests again. What is the best stress test to run for Video/Graphics.

Ok well im getting bugcheck BSOD's everytime i run something now. Prime ran with no errors at least thats what the log says until it BSOD's this bugcheck BS. Just ran IBT and it crashed bugcheck too....

Start with optimized defaults, Performance Enhance standard, MCH Core 1.2-1.24v, Static tRead Value 6-7.
This will set the memory to DDR-1066 with it's EPP timings, if you get errors disable XMP set timings and DRAM Voltage manually and try again. If there are still errors set multiplier to DDR-800, DRAM Voltage 1.9-2.0v and try again.

It is possible that some files are corrupted so a clean install of the OS with "safe" settings may be needed.

Just check that they are running at 1066 and timings and voltage are as expected.

well i just lost my raid in the process sigh... anyway where can i tell if the mem is running at 1066

MemSet main window ot CPU-Z memory tab. EasyTune HWMonitor for voltage.

RAID lost? was it your system drive? If not can't it be rebuilt?

After i went to opt defaults went back into windows forgot to change it back to raid after i loaded defaults and it changed two of the drives to non-raid disks and i dont know how to turn them back they were in raid 5

Had 3 drives in raid 5
