I set 1T in BIOS with original settings - computer booted up - but CPU-Z,MemSet,and Everest all say I'm running 2T.Tried several more settings in BIOS - same results.Everest gave simular bench results as before.Do you have anymore suggestions - because I really don't know where to go from here???Thanks Again
Yes, sorry I forgot to mention, those (ALL) programs will pick this up wrong as it is not supposed to work. That is why i suggested you bench to compare them both, Gigabyte has assured me this works fine now on all P45 boards. I have not had a chance to test myself, but I do trust my contact at Gigabyte of course.
It may fail, and be defaulting to 2T for you though with 8GB. This is very likely, so no need to worry just set 2T and leave it and continue your testing/tweaking
Been very busy at work this week - But I managed to get some testing in.I run Prime95 for 6hrs. then 12hrs.(no errors).I run Memtest86+ for 8hrs.(no errors).I run OCCT 4 passes - never looked better.Do I need to try and lower any timings?I know tRAS will not go lower than 14, tWR will not go lower than 5,and tRFC will not go lower than 59.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks again.
