Re: GA-P55 UD3R COLD boot problem
as i wrote, now running vtt1.27, pch1.120, rams at 1.66 and still testing it.
well, CPU (generation) is the same.
only the memory controller (it's the *same*generation) has been cut down to 2channels,
but the differences are very low, take a look at your self:
memory, classic bench (syntactically):
memory, classic bench (real based), here is an appreciable difference:
note: please dont forget: this results above 10-12 GB/sec are extremly high (tripplechannel), normally they reach about <10gb/sec.
looking at CPU/NPU performance, it's the same. the +4HT cores do only
help on highly Specialized Applications like maxxpi is,
but anyway look at yourself:
MIPS/GHz:
FLOPS/GHz:
in real live, you dont see any difference at all (both on 4ghz)
but!: now system consumes at idle: -12w and under load: -68w
best
