    Re: Memory Issues with EP43DS3L

Everest Memory and Cache Benchmark (part of everest), but it's crippled if you have only the evaluation version.
    is the one I use.
ScienceMark2 has a memory benchmark too.

tRD, Static tRead Value in BIOS, Performance Level in MemSet.

Im getting a 532.5 mhz reading on the initial setup ddr1066 trd6 and a 532.0 on the 800 trd 7 il just go with the higher one I guess, if you have anymore recommendations please let me know thanks so much..

I don't quite follow what you are saying.
Run the benchmarks, it's the only way to tell which is better.

ok I finally got some testing done.. here are the results I went with the 1066mhz
          tested at 7-7-7-20 2.100v TRD 6 and 7 on the 800mhz

thanks so much, i'm still open for some recommendations

            Re: Memory Issues with EP43DS3L

You had tRD 5 for 800 in this post.
Higher FSB will improve memory performance.

what do you think of these readouts from the 800mhz on trd 7? 266mhz fsb
                thanks for your input

hmmm I'm trying 333mhz fsb with 800mhz 7-7-7-20 trd 6 but it wont run anyways thanks for the advice as usual

I'm gonna settle with this setup for now thanks to the people that helped chike and lsd

I've learned so much glad to know people like you in this forum exist to help many of us out. <<<noobs

                      Re: Memory Issues with EP43DS3L

Nice to see you found something you like, if you do want better performance you may want to save some $$ for a better kit of memory. I'd suggest a 800Mhz 444-12 kit, it will do much better

Cool, well save up if you do want some better sticks. Those are all that bad, but I was just saying you could get better sticks for sure.

Did you set CPU Ratio 10 to keep the CPU at the same OC?
Try with CPU Ratio 9/9.5 also.
Timings should remain 5-5-5-15, tRD 6 should be possible but start higher 7 or 8, memory multiplier 2.40B.

Could be FSB wall for the CPU, not all of them can do above 300.

ok I'll try that.. but just one question if I drop cpu clock ratio to 10 it will reduce my cpu speed to 2.80 ghz is that gona affect overall performance?
thanks for the advice as usual
