Re: GA-EP45-UD3R rev 1.1 Intermittent BSOD

Those should be fine, I have the low latency version and never had an issue.
Just set Performance Enhancee to standard all timings on auto and 1.9v DRAM Voltage, and you should be fine, perheps 1.2v MCH Core if you have any pronlems.

Re: GA-EP45-UD3R rev 1.1 Intermittent BSOD

I have seen plenty of issues with those XMS sticks actually so feel lucky Chike.

MCH Voltage change should not be needed to run 2x1GB, but it may. I suggest you clear the CMOS and then try both sticks again, first in slot 1+3 then in slot 2+4 if 1+3 does not work. Of course, before doing that after you clear your CMOS go back and load optimized and set your RAID Again if need be, then set your ram voltage to 1.9V then do the tests

        RMA'ed ram bad too??

Well.... I still have the same problems with the New ram corsair set me.
Would you guys carefully look over my work sheet in post #1 to see what may need to be changed.
I'm really at a loss as what to do. Still Blue screening and freezing.
Could this ram be bad also?
        Thanks

          Can be bad ram.
Same settings as in 1st post?
Have you tried MCH Core 1.2-1.24v?

Re: GA-EP45-UD3R rev 1.1 Intermittent BSOD

Yes, same settings as in post #1.
I raised the MCH Core to 1.2v as you suggested that seemed to make it worse. Got the Red mit sceen again also.
I then lowed MCH Core to 0.950v, so far it seems ok.
I'll let you know tomorrow, it seems to be really bad at first startup in the mornings.
That's why it took me a bit to get back to you, testing the settings.
            Thanx

Re: GA-EP45-UD3R rev 1.1 Intermittent BSOD

That did not work either, I raised MCH core back to 1.050v. and I'll just leave it there.
Maybe lower the speed of the whole system?
It just crashes whenever it wants. Not a good thing.
My wife says "Get a different Motherboard and Ram, I can't use it like this".
              I'm about to give up.
