Yes, it may be possible to adjust things, but you need to find a stable point first, not just boot stable I mean testing with programs such as Memtest86+ or Orthos stable.. Once you get your CPU to a stable speed you want to keep then you can work on tightening up the memory
444-12 may not be an option with that much ram, you may be able to try 544-12 or 554-12 ect though, of course you can always try 444-12 but from the specs it may not work unless you pump 2.0-2.1V into them. Then maybe, not sure as I have not used any 4x4GB Sticks myself
