I boot using Vista 64 in the dvd drive, get to the "select drive" screen and its blank, in advance options everything is grayed out (to create partition etc).
I am trying to format this drive and install Vista 64 on my other computer but same thing, the hd never shows up.
if its not showing up on ur other pc then its the hard drive, are there any jumpers on the hard drive? sometimes you have to remove them to enable sata, they should be near the connector slots, also are you using the same sata cable to try hard drive? try with another one
