bump.. whats the latest story with the FD bios for this 1.6 board?
I just bought one and am having a heck of a time with overheating a Q9650.
Seems like a bios issue, since v1.0, 1.1 boards have been champions.
Want to love this board but need a nice bios

also, where's the link to the official gigabyte beto bios area? Hard to find the latest by weeding through the forums. Would like to have a page I can go to from time to time to check...

Luckman, I had problems with BIOS FD and my memory. I went back to FB and found a settings combo that worked for me.

Here are my settings for a conservative overclock and that worked getting my RAM up to rated speed.

Awsome you have the same RAM as I do too. Do you have 4GB or 8GB?

2 sticks of 2gb, in slots 2 and 4.
