    Re: E7200 + ud3r oc

Hmm, sounds like these are indeed hot chips then. Sorry I guess I had not noticed this due to not as many users with them.

Ahh well a damaged heatsink mount definately could cause higher temps, but sounds like from all the replies here you may be looking at higher temps than I expected anyway.

From your report, if your new cooler does not help things much, looks like you should stick with 4Ghz and call it a day.

I'd hate to see IBT Temps if Max Prime is 90C

      Re: E7200 + ud3r oc

The 90c is using Prime95? WOW! Sounds like there might be something wrong there. A re-mount of the HSF would be wise to eliminate problems.

Even at the dreaded 400*10 I only hit 77c in Prime95.

            Re: E7200 + ud3r oc

You should see similar temps to me really, scaling with ambient ofc.

I think at stock I load at 46-47c according to my particular DTS sensors, rising to 56-57c at 3.9GHz with a 23c ambient.

              Re: E7200 + ud3r oc

well, got the new ultra 120 but temps still hit 80 with the same settings. So now i know that sticking the e7200 at 4Ghz with temps under 70 is best thing for me and next step for me is to put back q66 in the UD3R now that i have some experience and great help.

Initially im gonna try 367 * 9 for a 3.3. the highest i ever got was 400*8 for a 3.2 but it kept giving me BSOD with 0x124 and i think that was due to all the settings left auto except for Vcore and mch.

So what do you guys think the suitable voltage settings should be for the q66 to do 367*9 ?

              Thanks again!
