Hmm, sounds like these are indeed hot chips then. Sorry I guess I had not noticed this due to not as many users with them.
Ahh well a damaged heatsink mount definately could cause higher temps, but sounds like from all the replies here you may be looking at higher temps than I expected anyway.
From your report, if your new cooler does not help things much, looks like you should stick with 4Ghz and call it a day.
I'd hate to see IBT Temps if Max Prime is 90C
