Please help me get stable!

I'm running a Q6600 G0(1.25v VID) on a EP45-UD3R. I can stable at 3.6ghz after 15 minutes of Linpack testing.

However, no matter what voltages I pump in, it will not stay stable at 3.8ghz. It's okay to browse the Internets, listen to music and work on, but under stress testing it BSOD's.

These are the settings I am currently running. Any I miss out, assume they are on auto:

Vcore: 1.57v (1.54v in Windows)
CPU Termination: 1.55v
CPU PLL: 1.7v
MCH: 1.36v
DIMM: 2.2v
C1E and EIST disabled.

There are quite a few other reference voltages, but I am unsure as to what they do. Should I fiddle with them, what should they be set to?

My setup:

Intel Q6600 G0 (1.25v VID)
Gigabyte EP45-UD3R
OCZ Reaper 1066mhz
Radeon 4870
Asus Xonar D2
Corsair HX620W
CPU and graphics watercooled.

Hi. No offense, but its an q6600. You did a fabulous job to hit 3.6 stably, but honestly thats probably where you call it quits. If pumping more vcore doesn't add stability, then that means something has hit its max and most likely its the board topping out. Boards have a lot of trouble supplying 445fsb to all 4 cores. It's just a fact. 4ghz on a quad core is near impossible and starting with 2.4 ghz quad I'd say you're lucky you hit 3.6 at all.

Anyway, look man i totally commend you on the oc. 1.2 ghz out of a 2.4 ghz chip! But components have their limits and most likely its your board that pooping out. Check by running prime95. If one core fails, then its your cpu. If both cores fail, then its your board. If its your board, try stepping down on mch ref to somewhere in the 0.68 to 0.74 range. If that doesn't work, just quit and start tapering back those voltages because that 1.7 cpu pll is making my eyes pop. I'm running a 1.1 cpu pll on an e8400 rock solid stably.

Due to the low VID on the chip, I believe 3.8ghz is within reach, it is simply a matter of fine tuning, but I don't expect 4.0ghz! 1.7 on the PLL does seem a lot, I guess i'll tone that back a bit to 1.6 perhaps.

I think i'll raise the MCH to 1.4v, I tried messing with the references, but doing anything to them seemed to result in a no POST. I think I must just roll on back to 3.7ghz, I had that stable on my old P5Q Deluxe (RIP).

Well I still suggest running prime95 blend to see whats failing and where the wall is. One core means your cpu isn't getting enough voltage somewhere, 2 cores means its a mobo/ram issue. I'm not sure how you're ocing (some people oc to find max fsb first and then work on chip, some people do both but in small increments, etc), but its probably a good assessment to make at this point.

Also how are your temps?

Well, nothing I can do will have it stable. I think i'll go back to 3.6ghz and just try and get voltages as low as possible.

As for Prime95, it tends to be that it either passes or goes straight to BSOD, i've never really had just 1 core fail. I mainly use a 10 minute burst on OCCT's Linpack testing which makes up for a good few hours of Prime95.

With my PLL? It's 1.5v by default, anyway, I backed it off to AUTO :p

Sorry I just saw 1.7 and though Vcore I should read more carefully.
