ok set the timing as that then,but set ram v to 1.66 in bios which will be 1.64 in windows
ok i was all set to try this but when i went into my bios, my settings didn't match yours at all
my settings:
cpu clock frequency
advanced cpu features
QPI clock ratio
uncore & QPI features
etc.
your settings:
advanced cpu features
uncore & qpi features
standard clock control (i don't have this menu)
etc.
are you using a custom bios or a different board? i'm using the UD5 with latest (F10) bios
also another thing to try - can you save your bios profile and upload it here? then i can just install it myself with the bios profile loader (F12 at boot menu)
what is fk9 beta bios? is that a custom bios? the gigabyte website says most recent bios is F10
f10 will be newer and might have different features i just havnt needed to update it yet,you can find all the latest beta bios's on main tweaktown/gigabyte page at the top.....makesure you select ex58 ud5 and not p55 ud5

here ive set up the bios to use 3.8ghz overclock and 1440mhz of ram,just flash it and you should be good to go,remember to uncheck load optimized defaults in q-flash or it will wipe the settings
