Greetings,
yesterday i assembled my new System with those Specs:
Mainboard:
Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R P35
CPU:
Intel Pentium E5200 2x2.5GHz
RAM:
2x2048MB Mushkin SP3-10666 CL9 KIT
GPU:
ATI X1900XT
PSU:
Hyper 700W
After i assembled it i tried to run some Tests, and the System shows the "Constant Reboot Cycle" behaviour described by many Users in the Forum.
I read through all the Threads but have not yet found a Thread containing a Solution to my Problem.
Strangely the System works after 3-10 Reboots and runs rock solid ( i ran a 12 Hour Burn in Ram/Cpu Test), but seems to reset to some default Bios Settings.
What is even stranger is the Fact that this Problem only seems to occur in Dual Channel Mode with 2 Ramsticks inserted, i tried it with only one Stick inserted, and i had no Problems anymore.
I updated to Bios Rev F12e, tried the most relaxed Memory Timings (i maxed every Latency), tried to run the 1066 Memory on a much lower Frequency, but nothing seems to help.
Now i am a little dissappointed because most of the Mainboards i used before had been Gigabyte Mainboards, all were rock stable, very reliable and well designed (i never had Problems of any Mainboard-related sort)
I would be very happy if anyone knows a Solution or if i would hear any official Statement regarding this Matter.
