Stasio do you have any further info on the ET6 update? I only ask because I was able to install on X58 as I did not see that you put "-Support Intel 6 and 7 series motherboards". Here is a SS of it running but there is a bug with CPU PLL I have set 1.4v in bios, ET6 shows -0.4000V.



If you go to Gigabyte's web page for the X58A-UD5 or the X58A-OC they no longer list ET6 as a utility for these motherboards.

I asked Gigabyte tech support if they could add DVID reading in ET6 for X58 and they said they would have to rewrite the program and they do not see that happening in the near future. But yet they have rewritten it as this version no longer shows the Quick Boost screen as useless as it was they still removed it.

So in the mean time you may want to still include the download to the older version B11.0823.1 which worked just fine on X58.

Edit - I just notice you have here B12.0425.1 while Gigabyte has B12.0424.1. I currently have installed the B12.0425.1.

Since new ET6 is not in the utilities for X58,use latest working till GB rewrite for it.

Torture test on small FFTs gets round off errors or crashes after a while. In very rare cases, regular tests could crash or raise a round off error. Fixed in version 27.7.

Here is an "unstable" revision of Memtest86+ 5.00. The code is almost done, all features are implemented, BUT there is still a bug somewhere when relocating the code in SMP mode on some platform. I added breakpoint on Test #6 and Test #7 to debug this. Breakpoint will pop up as "errors" in those tests.

1. SoB cannot package a default prime.txt with the Mac OS X version because the Mac version changes the working directory to ~/Prime95. Mac version changed to copy a prime.txt file from the application bundle to ~/Prime95. Fixed in version 27.7 build 2.
2. Root cause of several false prime reports in recent years found. Fixed in version 27.7 build 2.
