I don't mean to hijack this thread (and many thanks for it), but what the heck could Realtek possibly be doing with these near daily new builds? I have never been able to find a set of release notes. The only thing I figure are bug fixes for the hundreds of motherboards their chips are on. Any clues? Thanks.

Stasio, let alone Gigabyte R&D ppl, knows many other manufacturer R&D software ppl. Whether it is about applications, drivers or BIOS he always feed us with the latest one. To use it or not, it's our choice.
We are very lucky to have him here (and awake when he come here because this guy barely sleeps).
You won't see anything like this on any other manufacturer's forums.

Is there a way with UEFI BIOS updater to patch our bios for "Lighteater". I asked Gigabyte if they will release patched version of their UEFI BIOS and no world yet
