Is this for all motherboards then, since it only lists operating systems? The last one I used was v9.2.3.1022, since it was X79 specific.

I tried to install it over 1026, and it said it was older than that, lol. Weird stuff.

Thanks statio. I performed it this way in DOS prompt, but it still gave the message: 'This computer currently contains software version 9.4.0.1022 w/c is newer than....'.

If I proceed, which specific item in Device Mgr could I check for version, regarding INF?

Simple way : create a shortcut pointing on setup.exe and add "-overall", run this shorcut as administrator and choose Yes to ignore "this computer currently..."... it always works for me on many systems.

Ok, thanks. Just wanted to know if there was still something wrong, or if just ignoring would still update it. I guess just ignoring it in DOS would do just the same.

There's a box that pops up stating your version is older that what's going to be installed, but that's not the case. It will only update what's needed and outdated, so you're good to go.
