cpuz 1.65 does not show any vcore changes for Z87 UD5H. Is it working for anyone else? It stays stuck on 1.248 for me..... (vcore is set 1.25 but C states active).

v 1.62.2 is the only other one I had and it works fine.

Doesn't work for me either, but then AIDA also fails to show any voltage scaling when I've manually set it. All C states are enabled.

What I've noticed with my board is that on following the initial boot the CPU VRM value registers as scaling down (in AIDA), the VID stays static at whatever i've set it to in the BIOS. However if I run the AIDA stability test the VRM value increases (as expected) but then fails to drop back down again once the test is stopped (even though the CPU drops to an 8x multiplier). The only way to make it drop is a reboot.


I'm waiting to get my mitts on a multimeter so I can test.

I couldn't find v1.64 but like I say 1.62.2 seems to work OK. I know 1.64 was working for me but I guess I deleted it off my drive when 1.65 came out.

Whoever installs this on Z87 post up how it works for you. The last one wouldn't let me shut down the pc, it would go into a restart cycle >90% of the time. The one before it didn't work well either, so I reverted to 12.6.0.1033.

Did not try the others but I also was on 12.6.0.1033 with no issues. Updated to latest ones and rebooted a few times no issues as of yet.

Did not try the others but I also was on 12.6.0.1033 with no issues. Updated to latest ones and rebooted a few times no issues as of yet.

Thanks, Ace. You can't imagine how frustrated I was before when the computer would reboot instead of shutting down.....finally I calmed down and thought about recent installs (IRST, MEI firmware). I uninstalled both and reinstalled the MEI firmware as well as the older IRST (12.6.0.1033) and the problem went away.

So anyway I'll give the newest one a try.

My test were done on win8x64 not win7...
