    I loaded the optimized defaults and after putting back the what i had, the error still occurs.

      I see what might be the problem. You have set CPU terminaton and MCH but have the references on auto. The board is optimized for 45nm CPU so for 65nm you need to set CPU reference and MCH reference manually. Try this: Set CPU termination to 1.2 and MCH to 1.1. Set the reference voltage for each to 0.760. These are the default stock settings. Now raise the CPU termination and you will see the CPU reference and MCH reference rise along with it. What is going on is that the BIOS is keeping a ratio of about 63% (e.g. 0.760/1.2 = 0.633) for CPU reference/CPU termination, which is supposedly fine for 45nm. For 65nm the generally accepted ratio is 67%. So raise the CPU reference until the ratio is around 66-67% ( e.g. 0.8/1.2 = 0.667). I found that my Q9550 liked 67% better than 63%, I am currently running 0.838 ref./1.26 CPU termination.

      Now let's address the MCH reference. Remember we set the MCH reference to 0.760 at a stock 1.1 MCH. This is a ratio of 69%. I have found that it is more desirable to run this at 67% too. The easiest way is to raise the MCH to the same value as the CPU termination, since the MCH reference will be the same value as the CPU reference.

      So try 1.2 CPU termination and MCH, with CPU reference and MCH reference set to 0.800. Your memory settings seem fine. Set FSB to 333 and muliplier to 9, Vcore to 1.35, enable LLC and let 'er rip. Hope I didn't confuse you too much!

      Edit: Your Q6600 has a vid of 1.325 volts. That is what the motherboard will set the Vcore to unless you set it manually. Unfortunately, What is set in the BIOS and what you actually get are two different things. At 1.325 you will probably only get 1.27-1.28 actual and under load drop down to 1.22-1.23. To get Vcore near 1.325 actual you will need to set Vcore to 1.35 at least and enable LLC. This and the above settings should allow you to get to 333 x 9 hopefully.

        Thanks a lot, those settings worked perfectly. Another thing i realized was that my mobo recognized my ram as 800mhz, so i had to change the system memory multiplier to 3.00 A.

        Actually, it's not stable with 4.00 A or 3.00 A. I am not sure what to use. And the increase in vcore put my temps up pretty high, so going with 2.4 ghz until i get my heatsink.
