You have given no information about the rest of your components. Memory? Power supply?

Goto user CP and enter your hardware into your signature so like flyfisher said, we know what your working with.

What kind of cooling are you using?

I wouldn't attempt to do any OC until you get aftermarket cooling on that quad-core. What temps are you seeing?

30-35 idle and 45-50 during games. From what i've been reading, people have been able to OC to 3.0 little or no change to their voltage. However, i set my to 1.325 V and under CPUZ its only showing it as 1.280 V

That voltage discrepancy in CPUz is afaik normal. Just because someone else was able to OC to 3GHz without a volt increase doesn't mean your going to be able to, every chip is different - as evidenced by your inability to get that clock.

So its working at stock 2.4. WHich settings are you using to attempt 3.0? Have you tried slowly upping the FSB from stock to see if you have a "wall" somewhere?

Try Loading optimized defaults, and saving and exiting and re-enter the bios to try and OC again. Have you tried another BIOS version?
