    3DMark Vantage Poor Scores

    I am getting really poor scores in 3DMark Vantage using Vista with SP1.

    P6788
    GPU 5764
    CPU 14521

    Seeing others average it seems it is really terrible. How do I improve the scores.. I managed to OC the q9550 E0 to 3.62ghz but it is not even pulling decent scores!! why? memory or the way I oc it is not the right way?

    Those scores look about right to me.

      Why some [pm 3DMarks site] had like a 37000++ I thought there must be something I am doing pretty bad... strangely it is quite fast.... at least to me. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

        It sounds like someone is using 3dmark05, possibly 06 to get that sort of figure. But that would be an SLI or X2 setup with a high CPU overclock.

        At least the P Prefix in Vantage is there to indicate that the value has been derived from a specific preset setup. This way you can be assured that someone hasn't altered a setting to improve their score.

        Of course Vantage supports DX10 too.

          I guess the scores I got is ok.... just 2 weeks I set this thing up and now I feel it is already slow. How strange we are.... always in the quest to get or find something better.. By the way are there any form of tweaking I can do to improve scores?

            My system gets :

            CPU - 7130
            GPU -5429
