Hello
I want to have dual boot so I wantd to increase my RAM to 4G, I assume this mobo can do that. The RAM I am using is Corsair TWIN2X2048-8500C5D.
Since it did not work I did a total swap for my old to the new and as long as there is only 2G it works fine. If I try 4G it does not even get to XP home loading screen, BIOS says RAM 640, ext. RAM 1763 or something, if I try 3G BIOS says its RAM 640, ext. RAM 1024, and it boots upto user login and crashes when I login, if its 2G, in BIOS it is RAM 640 ext. RAM 2046.
Now I don't know if the problem is if this mobo supports this RAM module upto 4G, if it does, does XP home not like you changing RAM amounts as it goes above its limit, ie., if you want to put it in and do a fresh XP install?
