Hey LSD, so i got all the parts and just finished installing all the needed progs and its running great. I am trying vista 64bit sp1, seems speedy so far. Let me know what info you need to get me started? Below are the specs of what i have..
Q9550, GA-EP45-UD3P, 4gb OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Newegg.com - OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
Thanks in advance for help.

Voltage Type.………... Manual
CPU
CPU Vcore….……….........................: All up to your chip, keep in mind what you set here will be less in windows, you can check the difference by setting something around the range you plan to use with your overclock at stock settings(Meaning just manually set the volts to check this difference amount) and then go into windows and see what CPU-z shows vs what you set.

Just set high enough so you can for sure boot thru, then you can lower later. Maybe 1.25-1.32 Actual will be needed, that could be 1.3-1.38 set in the BIOS, all depends on your vdrop. Stock voltage manually set may work even, but not too likely. Basically this is just something I cannot advise really but something you have to find on your own

Re: GA-EP45-UD3P + Q9550 + OCZ reaper 2x2 pc8500..

You just have to either set it high and boot up and see what the difference in between what you set in the BIOS VS what you get in windows with CPU-z >>>
CPUID

Or start low and keep adding small bumps until you get windows to load.

Either way will work, I was just trying to let you know what you set in the BIOS will be less in windows at idle, and even less then that at load and CPU-z will show you the voltage at idle/load

Maybe 1.23-1.32 Actual for 3.4, some will need less, some more so that is just a general range

Thanks, i will give it a shot when i get home from work. Also, this would run my ram at 1066? its running at 800 right now.

you have to change your memory multiplier to get your ram to 1066

400 FSB use 2.66D = 1066Mhz ram

333 FSB use 3.20B = 1066Mhz ram
