    Hello guys , i need your help to stabilise my system. I have a gigabyte ep45-ud3r with a q6600 at 450x8 (3600) and 2x2gb corsair dominator 1066.

I need your advices on how to finetune the settings e.g. lower the voltages or adjusting the gtl.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Help with q6600 and ep45-ud3r.

Have I missed something on your settings?

I assume you are running your DDR2 at 900Mhz as you are using the 2.00B multiplier with a CPU host frequency of 450Mhz.
As the figure of 1080Mhz (shown) is what Auto would have selected i.e with a 2.40 multiplier, if you hadn't of set the multiplier manually.

Are you then looking to run your 1066Ram at around that value? If so you'll need to use one of the 2.40x multiplier's.
Your other settings and Ram voltage look good for 4GB and 1066/80 Mhz operation. Have you tried the Ram with a 2.40x multiplier ?(you may have more than one)

Re: Help with q6600 and ep45-ud3r.

You are right , my mistake , i meant 2,40b and yes my memory is at 1080 (i don't want to overclock it).

What about the cpu pll , cpu term , mch core , ref values , cpu /pci clock drive e.t.c. ?

Also , what is the ddr write training , what is the best setting for it ?

Load-Line Calibration [Enabled] .. this should be disable for intell ... will make your voltage higher ... also what your temp ??? 70 is limited.

I have LLC enabled , it helps with o/c. My temps are 30-31 idle and 66-67 at full stress.

Personally i would leave those to Auto if your setup is working ok, ie No Memtest Errors.

LsdMe and the other guys who have this board will be able to help you out on specifics (as I've got a P35 board). But as the settings go, they look pretty good. You could see with the aid of Memtest if you could back the DDR2 voltage back to 2.0volts. I assume they are at the limit voltage wise of the Corsair warranty? - if not probably quite close.
You might find though regardless of most the other settings bar the frequency the Ram is running at, that for a total of 4Gb you do need a DDR2 voltage of 2.1volts for them to run without error.

Ok with the ram. What about the other settings , could i lower some voltages or change anything else ?

Re: Help with q6600 and ep45-ud3r.

Strange thing happen. Yesterday i was linpack stable (100runs , problem size 11575). Today , i ran it again , with the same configurations and it failed after 34runs. IBT passed 37 of 40 passes.

What is going on ? Do i have to make any changes to the bios ?
