What MCH voltage are you using when you try both 4.00's? I would add some more and raise tRead to 11 for now to rule that out

Sorry about the delay; I've been busy. I tried what you suggested, setting the MCH to +0.3v (the max the board allows), and the tread to 11. The system still fails to boot with two sticks, though now rather than doing multiple reboots, it simply does the "boot" where the CPU fan does not come on, and the system never actually reaches post...just sits with a blank screen.

Please post your full settings you are trying and I will see what I can advise

Did you try slots 2+4 instead of 1+3?

          MCH Overvoltage: +0.3v

I have also just tried using the slots 2+4 again, with no luck. In fact, I have some trouble just getting things to work with one dimm in slot 2; the system knocks me back to stock settings anytime I set timings manually, and if I choose a mem multiplier of 4.0~, it gives me three long angry beeps (which makes sense, given that straps it to 1066, but it boots fine with that setting when in slot 1).

Hmm, have you tried a overclock at all? Like 333 FSB yet? 333x9 w/ 2.40 Multi

That may help even things out for sure, more vcore would likely be needed
