Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
That would be very nice of you! :)
I believe the most current ones are:
Realtek LAN ROM 2.45
JMicron ROM 1.07.28
Thanks again!

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
Haha, I should! If I did though, they'd edit it and re-arrange the files I'm sure.
Not sure why they don't keep it all up to date, but they say some newer ROMs fail certain things in the validations so they can't always use the latest as it causes issues and incompatibilities with some devices.
And I bet they were using old V8 Intel ROM on this one because if you use Marvell RAID and new Intel RAID ROM there may not be enough room in memory at bootup to load both ROMs at once.
So don't use both in RAID and you should be fine

Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
That is a good idea Stasio, and maybe someone would be willing to step up and be the main person running the thread.
But.... do you think GBT would get upset about it? I know they see we mod BIOSes here, but they don't look in this thread every day I assume, so it's not in their face all the time.
What do you think about that, or did you think about that already, if so what was your thoughts?
