GA-EP45T-UD3R - F9a is this the latest bios update for this board?
I have this motherboard ( a gift), it has no RAM modules and I need to buy news (2x4Gb).
I know the problems of this board with RAM, this upgrade solves anything?
Thank you very much.
I have a X79 - UD5 . Flashed ,by @bios :( , the lasted beta bios to fix a cold boot issue.
Good news, the cold boot is gone.
Bad news, i cant access the UFEI.
The PC boot directly to windows.
NO POST at All!! no logo, no IRQ summary. Just a cursor blinking for 3 sec and boot to windows(at least is fast).
If i hit DEL, END ( for q-flash) ,F12 (for alternate boot), alt+f10 ( for backup bios) ,the computer hangs.
I cant boot to usb!!
I used, reluctant , the @bios again, to reflash 14e, 13w, 13z. Same thing . I cant go back to 12 bios ( a message appears saying the downgrade is not allowed)
and now i cant disable HT, enable virtualization, overclock ( i can use ET if i have no option ).
any suggestion ?
EDIT: I got it. Putting the video card on the third PCI-E Slot , and only one stick of ram made the AMI screen appears allowing me to enter the bios( but still no iRQ summary). The problem is that now i cant get tri/quad channel, only dual channel . But i guess this is the reason of the initial problem. I forgot to mention that i have bents pin in the MB socket.
and with SLI, i cant even boot with 14e, (blinking cursor forever), i will stick with 13w.
Hello, I am the new member in this forum and it's the first time i try the Beta bios. My mobo is Z77X-UD5H, after flashing from F16 to F16g the Gigabyte Splash Screen no longer appears, which appears normally in F16. It go directly into Windows 8.1 boot screen (with Gigabyte logo). But when it hit DEL repeatedly when the monitor power LED changes from amber to blue, it goes to bios setting. The "show full screen logo" option in bios setting only affects the windows boot screen logo. Is it normal ?
My system boot normally into windows with debug code A0, but sometimes it changes to D4 and when the system wakes from sleep it shows D3. Flashing bios doesn't help.

AO is normal. Other code appears after sleep is normal.

I have a gigabyte z97mx gaming 5. Im new to overclocking and have read several guides about it. I am just a little confused on the new gigabyte bios because some of them i dont recognize from the guides i have read and most of the guides dont use gigabyte boards. My goal is simple, i want to maintain my 4790k at 4.0ghz but i want to do a dirty undervolt. I also want to make my voltage also use what it only needs. Although i have read guides im am quite confused at Vrin and other voltages values too. Can someone help me especially to people with gigabytes z97 boards too
^Set CPU multi from Auto to x40 and CPU voltage from Auto to 1.05-1.08V.
Since Vring also overvoltage on stock (under load), set from Auto to 1.05-1.10V.
Vccin maybe from Auto to 1.65-1.70V
Btw,
any additional setting you can post in this thread:
need some help reflashing z87 ud4h backup bios.. it was running f7 bios.. led debug shows 0 computer starts but does nothing, switch to main and everything is fine.. the main bios is running f10a... do i need to flash f7 bios on my main so i can then do a dual flash to my backup bios?.. because when i do dual bios flash ( main to backup) its not working
^
Leave both BIOS Switch's to 1......Main BIOS and Dual BIOS.
On OP page you have noted this:
Backup BIOS reflash:
.................
ALT+F10 - UEFI BIOS
So,be sure that you are in Main BIOS and before splash screen fast type ALT+F10.....so your Main BIOS will reflash Backup BIOS.
Btw,
how you know that F7 is on Backup BIOS...as didn't start?
Edit:
What is your CPU...?
Try F10c.
Usually people asking for advice/help, with very little info about ....so please post your full spec.
